The agreement, which allows the Calgary-based company to move ahead with its Jacky project as a tieback to Beatrice, had been held up pending a resolution of Ithaca's financial problems.
Ithaca is now a temporary operator of Beatrice and has appointed Wood Group Engineering as duty holder.
The $16.5 million deal involves Ithaca leasing Talisman's 100% stake in Beatrice for a minimum of three years with options to extend.
