Maersk Drilling has lined up a new contract with an unnamed player for its jack-up Maersk Resolve and gained an extension on a drillship charter with Eni but still has eight units idle.
The 2009-built Maersk Resolve, which has been working for Wintershall at the Ravn field in the Danish North Sea, has been tentatively fixed on a 16-month charter starting in January 2019, according to the Danish contractor’s latest fleet status report.
