Kazakhstan-flagged jack-up Satti is on its way to Baku for the upgrades necessary to begin an exploration drilling campaign for BP at the UK supermajor’s Shallow-Water Absheron Peninsula (SWAP) project off Azerbaijan, writes Kama Mustafayeva.
BP plans to spud the first probe in the Caspian Sea project shortly after upgrades and equipment installation work are complete, BP vice president of exploration Greg Riley told Upstream.
