Singaporean operator Jadestone Energy is looking to start work to boost production at its recently acquired Montara oilfield off Western Australia, writes Josh Lewis.
During the second and third quarter this year the company is planning to replace the subsea umbilical from the Skua and Swift-Swallow subsea wells to the field’s floating production, storage and offloading vessel.
It also plans to carry out a riserless light well intervention programme to restore gas lift to the Skua-11 and Swift-2 wells, perforate additional sands in the Swallow-1 well, and unlock new volumes in the heel of the Skua-11 well.
