Singapore's Jadestone Energy has drilled the first development well in six years at the Stag oilfield off Western Australia.
Drilling operations on the Stag-49H infill well concluded on 6 May, and the well was completed with sand screens and swell packers which take a few days to expand and set, the company said.
The jack-up Ensco 107 is back-loading equipment and preparing to move off location.
