Indonesian national oil company Pertamina’s US$1.5 billion Jambaran-Tiung Biru (JTB) gas field development project onshore Java is now expected to start production in early 2021, two years behind the original schedule, writes Amanda Battersby.

The JTB development envisages gas being produced from six wells to a processing facility that would extract carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide. Touted peak production is 330 million cubic feet per day of gas while there are term contracts for 172 MMcfd of sales gas.
