Japan’s Osaka Gas and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) have invested a joint $100 million for a minority stake in Philippines LNG contractor AG&P.

This capital will be used to execute AG&P’s multiple global liquefied natural gas and gas initiatives, which include small and medium-scale LNG import terminals, such as the company’s planned facility in Karaikal, India.

AG&P would not divulge the size of the stake acquired by the JBIC and Osaka Gas.
