A JAPANESE joint venture led by Idemitsu Kosan has awarded a front-end engineering and design contract for a field development off Vietnam to be anchored by two fixed platforms.
The contract was won by Aker Solutions, and will be a nine-month assignment for the Sao Vang and Dai Nguyet fields in blocks 05-1b and 05-1c in the Nam Con Son basin.
