The geothermal projects awaiting bids are Gede Pangrango with a potential capacity of 210 megawatts, Sangkan Hurip with 100 MW potential and Papandayan with 160 MW. The World Bank’s private arm, the International Finance Corporation, might help with the feasibility studies.

Indonesia’s West Java province is offering three geothermal projects requiring $1.4 billion worth of investment to be financed under a public and private partnership scheme.
