Javadi upbeat on Iranian output

Iran is well on its way to almost restoring its pre-sanctions crude output and export levels before the end of the year, according to National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) managing director Rokneddin Javadi.

Javadi told Upstream that exports have passed the 2 million barrels per day mark and will reach 2.2 million bpd by September.

Crude production has reached 3.8 million bpd and will be near 4 million bpd by September, he said.
