Yantai-based Jereh, the world’s largest fracturing equipment fabricator, is in advanced talks with Evergreen, one of China’s largest private conglomerates specialising in shipbuilding and engineering, to acquire its offshore subsidiary Sinopacific Offshore Engineering (SOE).
Well-placed industry sources said Jereh has completed two rounds of due diligence of the assets of SOE — which is based in Nantong in eastern China’s Jiangsu province — and aims to conclude the deal in a matter of months.
