Jindal last one standing in ONGC jack-up tender

The only other bidder, Indian player Greatship, did not in the end offer its drilling unit to ONGC.

ONGC requires rigs that can operate in water depths of up to 300 feet.

The jack-up Greatdrill Chetna, operated by Greatship, was earlier offered to ONGC with a “subject to availability” tendering pre-condition, claimed sources.

However, Greatship did not confirm the availability of the drilling unit to ONGC.
