Soft-spoken family man Joo-Myung Kang – known to most as Joe Kang – is the newly installed president of the International Gas Union (IGU) and a man on a mission.
“Presently gas has around 25% of the energy mix and we’re going to increase that to 30% in the next 10 years,” the South Korean says.
The key challenge facing Kang is to how to remove the barriers to enhancing the role of gas “as a great energy mixer”.
