STATOIL and partners have postponed their decision on the concept to be used for the second phase of development on the massive Johan Sverdrup project off Norway.
The Norwegian state-controlled operator confirmed to Upstream that the decision on the second stage of the Johan Sverdrup field, which is intended to increase oil production from 350,000 barrels per day to between 500,000 and 600,000 bpd from 2022, has been pushed back into next year.
