The deal, which was signed in China last month, will commit Petronas to sending LNG to Jovo’s LNG terminal in Dongguan for six years.
Jovo officials declined to disclose the price formula or the volume, but Guangdong-based officials said that the new contract has factored in current oil market conditions, and volumes could be higher than those defined in the previous contract.
