Indonesia’s Pertamina is finally starting to make concrete progress on its delayed $1.5 billion Jambaran Tiung Biru (JTB) giant gas development onshore Java, which is still targeted to come on stream in 2021.
The project started in 2012 and construction work began in 2016 but even today it is only 36% complete.
“We have been struggling until now to finish the project,” admitted Pertamina EP Cepu official Erwin Andri Kusuma.
