Apache put itself in a position to be a potential LNG producer early this year when it declared that gas from the Julimar-Brunello complex would most likely be exported rather than sold into the Western Australian market.
Last month, the company confirmed that it was negotiating to be a part of either Chevron’s Wheatstone LNG development or Woodside’s Pluto LNG scheme.
