Indonesian authorities are considering scrapping the Kalimantan-Java II gas pipeline project (Kalija II), more than a decade after local contracting giant Bakrie & Brothers landed a contract for its construction, writes Amanda Battersby.
Downstream regulator BPH Migas plans to sit down early next month with Bakrie to determine whether this touted trunk line that would deliver gas to the island of Java will actually get off the drawing board.
