Details on the required floating production, storage and offloading vessel remain vague, but it is thought Kangean Energy is seeking an FPSO with storage capacity of about 300,000 barrels of oil.
Sources said the oil being developed in the Kangean block has a very high pour point of 61 degrees Celsius and is very waxy, so heating is mandatory.
