US contractor KBR has been selected as the preferred bidder for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning work on Train 4 at Freeport LNG’s export terminal in Texas.
As part of the agreement, KBR said it will provide EPC and start-up of a fourth nominal 5 million tonnes per annum liquefaction train, and an associated gas pre-treatment plant under the fixed-price contract.
