The Houston-based company revealed this week that it is to start work on the second phase of front-end engineering and design on the export project, in the district of Squamish near Vancouver.
KBR said it “successfully completed the first phase, focused on cost optimisation” for the 2.1 million-tonnes-per-annum project.
Work on the second phase will be carried out by its offices in Houston, Texas and Edmonton, Canada.
