UK-based rig owner KCA Deutag has been awarded a series of contracts covering onshore drilling work in Russia, together worth $168 million.
The trio of deals, one of which is a contract extension, cover eight high-performance land rigs.
The first deal sees an existing client take five rigs to drill on two fields in East Siberia for three or four years, the second sees two 1500-HP cluster slider units heading to northern Russia on extension to 31 December 2021.
