Oil production from the foundation stage of Tullow Oil’s Kenya Oil Project (KOP) is expected to be about 65,000 barrels per day, writes Iain Esau.

Tullow developments director Madhan Srinivasan said this stage aims to exploit about 210 million barrels of oil via some 300 development wells drilled on three fields — 210 on Ngamia, 70 on Amosing and 14 at Twiga.
