Kenya aims to move ahead swiftly to secure finance for the pipeline proposed to export oil from Lokichar basin fields to the port of Lamu for export.
The government last week signed heads of terms for the development of the Amosing, Ngamia and Twiga fields with partners Tullow Oil, Total and Africa Oil Corporation.
Located on blocks 10BB and 13T, the fields could come on line in 2022, pumping up to 80,000 barrels per day.
