Singapore’s Keppel has posted a second-quarter net profit of S$153 million (US$112.46 million), down 39% year-on-year, although the slump was partly offset by stronger performance from divisions including offshore and marine (O&M), writes Amanda Battersby.

Group revenue of S$1.784 billion was 17% higher than the S$1.523 billion achieved a year ago.

Keppel’s net profit for the six months ended 30 June was S$356 million versus S$586 million one year prior.
