Industry sources said pre-front end engineering and design studies at the Krishna Godavari basin block, where subsea solutions are expected to dominate, will be carried out over the next few months and the field development plan is likely to be prepared by the middle of next year.
“We are hopeful that the field development plan for the northern discovery area of KG-DWN-98/2 will be ready by middle of 2015 and will be presented to the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH) for approval,” a source close to the development said.
