Kuwaiti Oil Minister Ali al-Omair said any dispute over operations at the Khafji field would not affect the strong ties between the countries.
“We hope to resolve this matter through dialogue, and the open-door policy,” Omair said.
Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry undersecretary Khalid al-Jarallah said during a visit to Riyadh that bilateral relations were too strong to be affected by discrepancies over output from the field.
