A proxy battle between US private equity firm Kimmeridge Energy Management Partners and Denver-based PDC Energy will come to a head at a 29 May annual meeting as the two parties continue vying for shareholder votes.
Kimmeridge nominated three candidates in March — the company's managing partner Ben Dell, Alice Gould, and James Adelson — to the eight-member PDC board in what it said was an effort to increase shareholder value.
