After a promising result from the Block 3A probe's secondary objective, a sidetrack targeting the main objectives has been drilled to a depth of 2962 metres en route to a final depth of 4000 metres.
Drilling in Kingfisher-1A's deeper section has so far intercepted three further potential oil-bearing zones between 2260 and 2370 metres, evidenced by wireline logging and formation pressure testing.
