The Merrick Mainline pipeline, to be built by TransCanada’s wholly-owned subsidiary Nova Gas Transmission, will be an extension of its existing Groundbirch Mainline section of the NGTL system.
It will carry 1.9 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas from the resource-rich Dawson Creek area to Summit Lake, where it will connect with the LNG partnership’s proposed Pacific Trail pipeline (PTP).
