At the same time, France's Technip is said to be the favourite to snare the equally large umbilical, riser and flowline (URF) package on Kizomba C, which involves development of the Mondo and Saxi-Batuque fields via two separate floating production, storage and offloading systems, probably supplied by SBM Offshore.
Well-placed sources said Vetco is on the verge of securing the subsea production system package for Mondo the US supermajor's first Kizomba C project in an order expected to be worth about $125 million.
