Kochi timetable is victim of success at Dahej terminal

In the frame are a consortium headed by Japan´s Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries (IHI), Technigaz and Sofregaz of France and Belgium´s Tractebel.

IHI and compatriot partners Mitsui, Toyo Engineering and Mitsubishi built Petronet´s Dahej facility, India´s first LNG import and regasification project.

Petronet is aiming to get the Kochi terminal operational by December 2009, although one local source suggested that“by 2011”was now a more realistic target.
