Kosmos Energy has filed an exploration plan with US regulators for the Garden Banks area, where the US independent has said it aims to drill a prospect called Resolution in the latter part of this year, writes Kathrine Schmidt.
The plan for Garden Banks Block 492 calls for drilling up to five locations in water depths ranging between 1884 and 2073 feet, and was received by the US Bureau of Safety & Environmental Enforcement on 10 June, according to its database.
