EnQuest said the Kraken FPSO, which is being chartered from Malaysian floater provider Bumi, had completed its shorebased commissioning activities and inclination testing programme and was heading out to deep-water where commissioning work will take place on the water injection pumps, HSP power fluid pumps, sulphate reduction packages, lifeboats and fire, water and deluge systems.

EnQuest said the FPSO was still on schedule to sailaway to the North Sea Kraken field during the current quarter, with that journey expected to take 50 days ahead of planned production start-up in the first half of 2017.
