Singapore-headquartered KrisEnergy is confident it is on track to bring on stream next year its Apsara field off Cambodia, which will be the Southeast Asian nation’s first indigenous oil production.
However, the hunt to find a farm-in partner to help mitigate the project cost and risk remains elusive.
“Farm-out discussions have been hampered in the last 24 months largely due to turbulent oil markets, which have impacted valuations as well as access to financing,” said KrisEnergy chief executive Kelvin Tang.
