Namibia’s government has revived the dormant Kudu gas project and wants the partners to make a final investment decision in mid-2015, before first production in 2018.
Industry sources said the subsea players and floater providers have been asked to revalidate their original bids for the offshore hardware, after the Windhoek-based authorities agreed to finance the upstream and downstream project obligations of its state-owned players, Namcor and NamPower, respectively.
