Kutch seismic players pre-qualified by ONGC

Bids for the Gujarat Kutch 3D seismic tender are likely to be submitted to ONGC by 23 July.

Netherlands seismic major CGG, Schlumberger subsidiary WesternGeco, Dubai-based Polarcus, Russian player Sevmorneftegeofizika and Norway’s Petroleum Geo-Services, Seabird Exploration and Dolphin Geophysical have pre-qualified for the data acquisition and processing tender.

However, sources said not all seismic contractors pre-qualified by ONGC are likely to place bids.
