Indian engineering, procurement and construction contractor Larsen & Toubro has emerged as front-runner to build an onshore gas export pipeline project for Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), with the contract thought to be worth close to $500 million, writes Nishant Ugal.
At least two industry sources told Upstream that L&T is understood to have submitted the lowest price offer for the gas export pipeline project that is likely to be at least 150 kilometres long.
