Subsea 7 has won a contract worth between $50 million and $150 million for flexible pipelaying work on Total’s Lapa North East field development in the pre-salt Santos basin off Brazil.
The UK-based contractor will carry out transport, installation and pre-commissioning of 35 kilometres of flexible pipelines and 20 kilometres of umbilicals that will connect five wells to the Cidade de Caraguatatuba floating production, storage and offloading vessel.
