The Casper Petroleum Club in Casper, Natrona County, will bid adieu on 31 December after suffering “decreased membership attendance for the past 15 years”, its board lamented.
Set up in 1949 by 15 founding members to “aid the industrial and productive interests” of Wyoming, the club labeled itself as “the place where deals are made”. Sadly, there appear to be fewer deals around these days.
