Environmental groups in Indonesia are threatening to sue Pertamina on behalf of locals affected by the national oil company’s latest crude spill, writes Amanda Battersby.
The Indonesian Forum for the Environment (Walhi) claimed some 3000 barrels per day of oil have been leaking since a well kick occurred on 12 July at a well on the operator’s producing Offshore North West Java (ONWJ) asset.
