"We're bidding work for September and October for both barges," said Phil Thibodeaux, who oversees Chet Morrison's newly created offshore pipeline division. According to Thibodeaux, it sometimes takes up to six weeks to get drawings back from ABS, the marine surveyor.
Chet Morrison has allocated $5 million to outfit two barges, the CM 11 and the CM 9, for pipelay in the Gulf.
