Brazil’s Petrobras has temporarily shut down operations at the P-25 semi-submersible production platform in the Albacora field in the Campos basin after a small oil leak was reported earlier this week.
According to Petrobras, a leak in the pipeline resulted in an estimated 941 litres of oil, the equivalent of nearly six barrels, being spilled into the ocean about 110 kilometres off Rio de Janeiro.
