Halliburton upset shareholders this week by announcing another $62 million after-tax charge on its Barracuda-Caratinga turnkey development in Brazil, but confirmed its commitment to finishing the project by outlining an agreement that should end legal wrangling with Brazilian state oil company Petrobras.
