Lebanon’s Ministry of Energy & Water has launched a request for proposals for the provision of liquefied natural gas floating storage and regasification units to 13 prequalified contractors and consortia, writes Amanda Battersby.
Lebanon is in the market for three FSRUs. The vessels will be deployed at Deir Ammar near the second largest city Tripoli, and at Zahrani and Selaata — locations recommended by the government’s consultant Poten & Partners.
