Partner Leni Oil & Gas, said Leed has temporarily suspended production from its Eugene Island Block 184 and Ship Shoal Block 201 platforms.
Leed said last week that talks with its creditor UniCredit Bank AG failed to reach a satisfactory conclusion. Its shares were subsequently suspended.
Volumes are expected to resume flowing from the idled fields once UniCredit has appointed a receiver and the situation is reviewed.
