Leighton’s workscope includes installation of tie-in risers, topsides extensions and subsea valve as well as the hook-up and pre-commissioning of topsides and the dewatering, pigging, hydrotesting and onshore tie-in of subsea pipelines.
The project, about 20 kilometres off Andhra Pradesh, comprises the G1 subsea development with pipelines to onshore processing facilities and GS15, which is being exploited by two platforms.
Leighton’s pipelay barge Leighton Stealth will begin work this month, with completion scheduled for March 2011.
