Nigeria-focused Lekoil and local operating partner Green Energy International have signed a memorandum of understanding with Schlumberger and an unnamed subsidiary of a major oil company for a “comprehensive infrastructure sharing and drilling programme” to develop a group of marginal fields on Block OML 11, about 60 kilometres off Port Harcourt.
Site mobilisations are tentatively scheduled later in the third quarter of 2019.
