CHINA’S leading offshore oil and gas operator CNOOC Ltd will soon undergo a major management reshuffle, with chief executive Li Fanrong looking set to move on to a senior government position.
Sources with direct knowledge of the matter told Upstream that they expect Li to be promoted to become deputy director of the policy-making National Energy Administration, replacing the retiring Zhang Yuqing.
