Mozambique plans to launch a sixth licensing round this September with preparations including final block designations concluding by the end of July, allowing companies some six months to prepare and submit proposals.
Evaluations will take three months, after which results will be announced in early 2020, with the signature process slated for the second semester of 2020, he said.
The National Institute of Petroleum (INP) is pushing open acreage in several basins including Angoche A5-A, Angoche A5-B, Zambezi Area Z5-C, Zambezi Area Z5-D and Pande-Temane PT5-C.
